Coaching Requirements Policy

Criminal Record Checks (All Coaches and Assistant Coaches)

All coaches are required to provide the association with a police record check and vulnerable sector check conducted within the last six months. This initiative is supported by Basketball New Brunswick (BNB).
The maximum interval between checks is three years, and a disclosure form may be requested each year.

Training & Certification (Competitive)

At least one coach on each team must have completed the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) course at the Learn to Train (L2T) level or above to coach at provincial competitions.
